Designing for easy flow through a house is always a priority of ours. The staircase acts as a focal point and curves gently down to the family room from the entrance above (image 2.1). Limited and subtle curves in certain ceiling areas compliment the theme.

Above images show the open plan and easy flow attributes of the design for this house, and the importance of getting some south light into what is essentially a north facing house.
