Kitchen and nook
As with most homes - the kitchen is the heart of the house. In fact I've often
why we get to design other parts of a house because so much of our time is spent
in the kitchen! The owners - both keen on culinary delights and the preparation
thereof both wanted a good sized practical kitchen with as much views as possible. This was
achieved after much careful thought and planning which allowed a large island and
center section utility area housing the pantry, refrigerator and a separate store for
linens and dry goods (seen to the right in the photo).
Whether cooking, washing or preparing food on the island, the occupant is surrounded
with visual entertainment either through the large corner glass window or (behind viewer
not shown)out to the sun deck on the south side. Lavishly complemented with
unique natural furniture as shown and well lit by the 8x8ft skylight above.

Dining area overlooks the atrium to the south with complimentary views through the living area (not
shown) and the large corner glass window on the east side.
Magnificent bathroom with custom built bath. Note mirror on rear wall (left image)
and the effect on the overall space. Powder rooms shown in images on right.
The owners showed their exquisite touch in their quest for superb powder rooms,
pure, simple and beautiful.
