"House of Curves..."
Owner wanted a small house (1950sqFt) - with large attic bedrooms - and the use of
curves should be incorporated into the design. Located on a steep site - the design
called for a vertically developed plan with interrelated volumes flowing vetically
through the house. Access is at ground level via a small entrance area which is linked to
main floor using a curved staircase. The stairs are designed to turn in such a way
that the viewer is treated to a full lake view on arrival at the top of the stairs.
